2021 stats
On May 3, 2021, the Falcons exercised a fifth-year option on Ridley’s contract. The option guarantees a salary of $11.1 million for the 2022 season.
On October 31, Ridley announced on Twitter that he was withdrawing from football for mental health reasons. Ridley finished the season with 31 receptions for 281 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.

According to an ESPN report, the bets were placed on a mobile phone and they were kept out of state. The stakes were reportedly “multi-legged parlays involving games 3, 5 and 8 for the Falcons to win, per source.”
