Reimer, who hails from Surrey, was included in the Oil Kings of the Western Hockey League (WHL) in 2019. He was part of the team that won the league’s Central Division championship last season.
Before joining the Oil Kings, he played minor hockey with the Delta Hockey Academy in BC. In 40 games with his under-18 preparation team, he scored 37 points – 19 assists and 18 goals.
Accident
A member of the Edmonton Oil Kings junior hockey team is one of three people killed in a car accident Saturday morning.
Reimer, 16, was in a vehicle with two other teenage boys, Ronin Sharma and Parker Magnusson, when they collided with a tree in MT Surrey around 4 a.m. Saturday.
The Surrey RCMP has yet to establish what caused the collision, but first responders determined that all three people in the vehicle were killed on the spot.
