Brian Dale Horsin (born November 1, 1976) is the head coach of American football at Auburn University. Before leading the Auburn Tigers, he coached the Boise State University Broncos from the 2014 season to the 2020 season, where he posted a 64-17 record. He began his head coaching career at Arkansas State University for the 2013 season.[2] Harsin was co-offensive coordinator at the University of Texas for two seasons, where he made a major impact in the development of teams on that side. Before leaving for Texas in 2011, Harsin was an assistant at Boise State for 10 seasons, with the last five as offensive coordinator and quarterback coach.

Brian Horsin, a former Boise State quarterback, assistant coach and offensive coordinator, is in his seventh year as head coach at his alma mater in 2020. Harsin holds a 64-17 record at Boise State, averaging more than 10 wins. per season. Overall, he is 71–22 as head coach – including one season at Arkansas State – and has led his programs to bowl each season.

In its first season, Harsin catapulted his alma mater back to where it rose to national prominence. Boise State went 12-2 in 2014, winning their first outright Mountain West championship and capping the campaign with a 38-30 win over Arizona at the 2014 VIZIO Fiesta Bowl.

The win at the Fiesta Bowl was the Broncos’ third such victory in the past nine seasons. Harsin, serving as offensive coordinator in the first two Fiesta Bowl victories, has been part of each of the school’s three appearances in the game.
