Bryan Dale Harsin is the American football head coach at Auburn University. Prior to leading the Auburn Tigers, he coached the Boise State University Broncos from the 2014 season through the 2020 season where he posted a 64-17 record. He began his head coaching career at Arkansas State University for the 2013 season.

Bryan Harsin is on the hot seat at Auburn, and his wife, Kes Harsin, has responded to some of the swirling rumors about why members of his staff left for other programs and players entered the transfer portal.
Harsin joined Auburn from Boise State last season, replacing Gus Malzahn. The Tigers went 6-7, losing their final five games, and there has been a noticeable exodus of players and assistant coaches, though some who have stayed have resolutely defended Harsin. There have also been sordid, unconfirmed personal rumors about Harsin on social media and message boards.

In her Instagram stories last week, Kes Harsin posted an aphorism rebutting the speculation: “Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.”
The school released a statement on Monday in which it said it is “judiciously collecting information from a variety of perspectives.” The statement also said Auburn does not “make institutional decisions based on social media posts or media headlines.”
Affair:
Harsin’s recruiting class this year was not horrendous, but also not up to the lofty standards Auburn’s had in the past. Auburn was ranked No. 18 for the class of 2022 on Rivals; previously, the program has been among the top 10.
Friday morning, Lee Hunter, a former four-star defensive tackle who is transferring out of Auburn, wrote on Instagram that players are “treated like dogs.” Hunter wrote that Harsin “has the true mindset for a winner but has a terrible mindset as a person.”
