He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of the William Regal-led stable Blackpool Combat Club along with Jon Moxley and Wheeler Utah. On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Brian Danielson confirmed that he will not be competing at the Forbidden Door. Instead he found the perfect replacement to face Jack Saber Jr. at the pay-per-view.

On Twitter, wrestling fans have heavily speculated that Danielson will be replaced by none other than former WWE star, Cesaro, the real-life Claudio Castagnoli.

The former United States Champion left WWE in February 2022 after his contract with the company expired.
