Brittany Yvette Griner (born October 18, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Mercury of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).[1] She played college basketball for the Baylor Lady Bears in Waco, Texas. Griner appeared in court on Monday and his hearing was set for Friday. His custody was extended for another six months and he was ordered to remain in custody till the completion of the trial. It is not clear how long the court will take to deliver the verdict. He faces up to 10 years in prison. The Associated Press reported that less than 1% of defendants in Russian criminal cases are acquitted, and the U.S. On the contrary, can be acquitted.
