Height:

He is 1.7 m tall.

It is unusual to see Leicester like this. The club were champions of England six years ago and the first FA Cup win came as recently as last year. The pause on spending means an adjustment for everyone – fans, players and the manager who came here to compete.

“Where we have been in the table for the last few years, that is where I want to be challenging. Everyone wants to keep pushing. But for that we have to improve our squad and we have not been able to do it. Of course, that will be difficult for the supporters.”

Sack:

Brendan Rodgers has warned Leicester must alter their expectations after a dreadful start to the season and outlined a bleak picture by admitting his players need to enter survival mode to reach 40 points and avoid relegation.

Rodgers’s side finished eighth last season and reached the Europa Conference League semi-finals, a year on from winning the FA Cup for the first time, but after a summer in which they signed only one outfield player the under-pressure Leicester manager has made clear that the realistic targets this season have significantly changed.

He achieved great success with the Glasgow club, including two league titles and five domestic cup trophies, before moving in mid-2018-19 season to Leicester City.

Salary:

Rodgers has now doubled his salary at Leicester – taking his pay from £5million-a-year to £10m.
