While there were question marks about being active in Week 1 after suffering a torn right ACL last October, Hall had a big positive performance in the team’s 22-16 win over the AFC East rival Bills in overtime at MetLife Stadium on Monday. Today we will discuss about Breece Hall fantasy: Week 1| Update| Injury| Run.
Breece Hall fantasy: Week 1| Update| Injury| Run
Breece Hall (knee) is officially active for the New York Jets against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night. Hall continues to work himself back to 100%, and will likely ease back into the backfield rotation for Monday night’s contest against the Bills, with free-agent acquisition Dalvin Cook fully healthy.

Week 1
Hall (knee) hasn’t played since last October when he tore his ACL against the Broncos. He has since worked his way back and, despite the “questionable” tag, is on track to return when the Jets host the Bills at MetLife Stadium on “Monday Night Football.”
There is a lot of optimism surrounding Hall’s status heading into the 2023 season, and even more optimistic entering Week 1 on Saturday. While Hall and the Jets may feel good about his return, fantasy owners likely don’t share the same sentiment. Hall looked like a candidate for Rookie of the Year last season before injuries hit him, but the Jets added Dalvin Cook to the running back room, dimming the outlook for a once-promising fantasy backfield.
If the hall is active as expected, you should still start it, even if the max limit is currently capped. SN Fantasy has him ranked 17th in PPR and 15th in standard formats. Even though we don’t know what to expect from the Jets in terms of Hall’s workload, coach Robert Saleh wasn’t specific about it on Saturday, telling reporters, “We have a plan.” “But the plan may be more, it may be less. We have an idea of what we want to do.”
The former Iowa State star is likely to get the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury, something the Jets may be able to do thanks to Cook’s presence.
If Hall is unexpectedly inactive on Monday night, Cook receives a massive upgrade in terms of upside, as he will only have to compete with Michael Carter for carries. However, your options for replacing Hall in your lineup will be limited, so it’s a risk you’ll have to be willing to take without proper insurance options. At that point, Carter will likely be your only option unless you also bring Cook or a Bills running back onto the roster. Breece Hall fantasy
Update
The news on Hall’s injury is generally positive, but it is not a 100% positive outlook. Hall returned to full practice Saturday, having been limited each previous day.
However, the Jets listed him as questionable in terms of his playing status, leaving it uncertain whether he would be on the field.
Injury
Hall (knee) hasn’t seen game action since missing the season with a torn ACL in Week 7 against the Broncos last season.
Run
Jets running back Breece Hall exploded for two big plays on his first two carries after suffering a torn ACL in Week 7 of the 2022 NFL season.
On Hall’s second touchdown of the season, the 22-year-old took an 83-yard gain that was praised by everyone except Eli Manning.
On ESPN’s ManningCast, the former Giants quarterback suggested that Hall should have scored a touchdown and hinted that the former second-round pick may have been out of shape after his lengthy injury absence.
“Uh oh, he’s not in shape,” Manning said after Hall was crushed by Bills defensive back Christian Benford. “He is not in shape, he is just coming back. He didn’t have the explosion.
Peyton Manning was enjoying the huge crowd at the Hall and suggested that the team play every time.
After his first two rushes of the season, Hall had rushed for 109 yards, enough to rank him third in the league. He is also the only player in the league to have two or more rushes of 20 yards.
While Hall has been dominant in his first taste of game action since October of last year, Manning couldn’t help pointing out that the star running back may not be in top shape after failing to complete his big run.
