Update

Brandon Aiyuk Injury: Update| Status| Report

On Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers were second best in the Super Bowl rematch, ___ to the Kansas City Chiefs, but they might have lost even more than their fourth loss of the season which was only a speculation made after the game. Coach Kyle Shanahan went to the media to reveal his concerns over the emotional wide receiver from the 49ers Brandon Aiyuk, who might have torn his ACL. More tests and details will be given later.

Media personnel already knew that the lost season would even cut the impact of the game in the NFL though Aiyuk was seen after getting what appeared to be a right knee injury before the halftime break in week 7 of the game. Aiyuk was squeezed between Chamarri Conner and Trent McDuffie after catching a ball with a gaining 15 yards. He was on the ground for a brief period being seen to by a number of trainers.

In the end however, Aiyuk managed to get up and walk of the field but that was not before he was at the half-timmer at the locker where he quietly got carted away. In fact, he was still ruled out by the 49ers when the second half commenced.

Status

The San Francisco 49ers couldn’t catch a break in Week 8. To add salt to the wounds they already had in the match against Kansas City Chiefs, Brandon Aiyuk was injured, possibly ending his season.

Shanahan confirmed what the fans did not want to hear: That the preliminary evaluation suggests that Brandon Aiyuk tore his ACL while playing against the Chiefs.

With a prognosis this bad, Aiyuk will undergo an MRI on Monday to assess the severity of his injury.

“That’s what it looks like, but we don’t know for sure,” Shanahan said.

“Just Chekin the the test and everything with our hands, with the trainers and stuff, all that. That is what we fear. That is what it looks like. But we have been wrong before so we are praying that we are,” the 49ers head coach added.

Aiyuk endured the terrible injury late in the second quarter after taking a 15-yard reception from Brock Purdy. Aiyuk was caught between Justin Reid and Chamarri Conner. Reid’s body pinned Aiyuk’s left ankle while Conner’s hit rammed into Aiyuk’s right knee.

Report

The injury report coming out of the Sunday of Week 7 of the biggest football championship has a few recognizable names at the top of the list and some injuries that will utterly change the action for many teams in the league. When New York guard Xavier Newman had to be immobilized and taken to a Pittsburgh hospital due to a neck injury suffered on the field, it appeared to be the most critical situation of the weekend, which happened during the Jets vs. Steelers Sunday Night Football game. As the first reports suggest, Newman was aware of what was happening and moving his limbs when he was being evacuated from Acrisure Stadium.

On the other hand, when Cleveland’s Deshaun Watson, Washington’s Jayden Daniels and San Francisco’s Brandon Ayiuk had to leave their games early on Sunday, it didn’t depict a very nice picture for the team as well. Let us take a look at a few of the week 7’s news, scores and noteworthy facts and figures.
