Brady Manek of North Carolina was kicked out Saturday for elbowing Baylor’s Jeremy Sochan in the NCAA Tournament second-round game.
Manek had a season-high 26 points when he was knocked out in the second half.
Manek throws an elbow while stopping Sochan for a rebound. Moments earlier, Manek hit a 3-pointer that gave the eighth-seeded Tar Heels a 25-point lead against the defending champions.

Sochan fell on the court as the referee whistled a foul on Manek. After a review came major foul play and expulsion.
Armando Bacot in the first half and then shortly after Manek was out. Each drew a technicality for extreme contact. Sochan was punished for the first incident, Bekot for the second.
