Bol Manute Bol ( born November 16, 1999) is a South Sudanese-American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Oregon Ducks. A son of basketball player Manute Bol (known for being one of the tallest NBA players in history), Bol was born in Khartoum, Sudan, but moved to Olathe, Kansas from an early age. In high school, Bol was considered one of the best players in the class of 2018, earning a unanimous five-star recruit and McDonald’s All-American honors. Trade
Several players are reportedly moving forward with the week remaining until the NBA trade deadline on Tuesday night.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs agreed to a three-way trade. In the deal, the Celtics will receive center Bol Bol and guard PJ Dozier, while guard Brian Forbes is heading to the Nuggets and forward Juancho Hernangomez will land with the Spurs.

Shams Charaniya of The Athletic and Stadium reported earlier on Tuesday that Bol was due to undergo foot surgery that would sideline him for 8-12 weeks. According to Mike Singer of the Denver Post, the Nuggets attempted to deal Boll with the Detroit Pistons last week, but the trade was canceled when the Pistons “had a problem with Boll’s physical.”
