Tackles
Bobby Wagner has had more combined tackles than anyone since entering the NFL in 2012.
On “Monday Night Football”, the Rams’ linebacker made yet another takedown with a potential enemy hitting the ground. It was not a 49ers player, but a protester running across the field at Levi’s Stadium with pink smoke bombs.
Hit
A fan ran onto the field just before halftime as the San Francisco 49ers took on the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football on Cap Week 4. The fan was carrying a pink smoke bomb, and it ran down the sidelines until two Rams players knocked it down. Base. Rams defensive end Takarist McKinley fan chased him from behind, and veteran linebacker Bobby Wagner lowered his shoulder to slam him to the ground.
The sequence was captured on ESPN 2 on Manningcast, and more videos from inside the stadium are floating around on Twitter. Wagner is a 6-time All-Pro, and has led the NFL in tackles twice. This fan absolutely didn’t stand a chance.
Tackles streaker
Los Angeles Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner is a future Hall of Famer and one of the greatest tacklers of his era. Many NFL players know this, and during Monday night’s game between the Rams and the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium, a random streaker even discovered it—the hard way.
The unfortunate interlocutor was carrying pink smoke behind him – maybe a gender reveal? — but as a stadium security officer went after the man, Wagner made sure to get help.

Protester
A defender meets Los Angeles Rams defensive end Tarkist McKinley, left, and full force of linebacker Bobby Wagner during Monday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers on October 3. “He looked like he shouldn’t have been on the field,” Wagner told reporters after the game. “I noticed there was a slight problem with security – so I helped him.” The 49ers dominated the Rams behind a strong defense containing seven sacks and one interception, winning 24–9 to lead the season 2–2.
