Robert John East (December 17, 1984 – July 13, 2022) was an American professional stock car racing driver. He raced for USAC, ARCA and NASCAR. During his career in the latter two, East was a member of Ford’s driver development program.

Three-time USAC national champion driver Bobby East died this week after being stabbed at a Southern California gas station. He was 37 years old.
The Westminster Police Department issued a statement on Saturday identifying Robert John East of San Dimas as the man who stabbed him in the chest at 76 Gas Station on Wednesday. Knife suspect Trent William Milsap was shot and killed in Anaheim on Friday as officers tried to arrest him, the statement said.
Police say they had no intention of stabbing and investigations into both deaths are ongoing.
They said they reached the gas station sometime before 6 pm. To find an ex suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, where he died.
