Bob Babich (born February 20, 1961) is an American football coach and former player, formerly the linebackers coach for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). Babich was the head football coach at North Dakota State University from 1997 to 2002, setting a career record of 46–22. He played college football as a linebacker at the University of Tulsa in the early 1980s.

Bob Babich calmly kicked the bucket at his home in California at the age of 74. Babich was generally first drafted by the San Diego Chargers in 1969, following his time in Miami.

Babich was a man for the San Diego Chargers from 1970 to 1972 and the Cleveland Browns from 1973 to 1978.

Babich only missed three video games in 1975 in six seasons with the Browns.

He was a very longtime Hart linebacker for the Chargers and six extras for Cleveland.

After attending the days, he ran his agency in security, financial administration and land lending companies for more than twenty years.

College Football Hall of Fame member Bob Babich, who played linebacker in the NFL for the Chargers and Browns, has died. He was 74 years old. Babich died on April 3 at his home in Claremont, California. The National Football Foundation announced his death on Wednesday. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Babich played for coach Bo Schimbachler at the University of Miami (Ohio). He was a captain and a first-team All-American at Linebacker in 1968, later being voted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1994. He is still the only player from the Mid-American Conference School in Oxford, Ohio, to be selected. to the College Football Hall of Fame. “An exceptional hard hitting linebacker, Bob Babich made his mark at Oxford as one of the best in the country,” said National Football Foundation President Archie Manning. “He was a great man with a great sense of humor and full of great stories.” Babich was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the first round of the 1969 NFL Draft. He spent three years with the Chargers and six more years with Cleveland, playing mostly middle line backer.

Obituary: Ilhunt became aware of Bob Babich’s death through a social media post on April 21, 2022. He was the only Miami College player on the School Soccer Corridor of Fame. The cause of his death is still unknown. However he left behind a legacy of fond memories, and those who knew him will miss him dearly.

It is with a deep sense of loss and a heavy heart that friends, family members, colleagues announce the sudden demise of his family members.

I am sorry to share this sad news regarding the passing of Bob Babich. His family and friends are shocked by his sudden demise.

Bob played for the Chargers from 1970–72 and for the Cleveland Browns from 1973–78. He was liked by many and he will probably be greatly missed by all those who knew him. He will probably be remembered by all!
