The most dramatic moment of the fight came in the third round, with Pitbull landing a heavy right arm that staggered Mackie. Nemkov outplayed his opponent in the first round, but Anderson raised the temperature in the second and third rounds. The pace was firmly in place with Anderson in third as he landed in a solid combination that set up a valuable takedown. Nemkov did well to avoid a loss on the bottom and even got caught in a guillotine choke forcing Anderson to pull out. Anderson took the top spot in the closing minutes, landing a vicious elbow in the process. One wrong guess resulted in an accidental headbutt that cut Nemkov over his eye.
