Mayfield was born on April 14, 1995, in Austin Texas, as the second son of two sons, James and Gina Mayfield. A private equity advisor, James received his younger son’s senior year in high school. faced financial difficulties. Mayfield was selected first overall in the 2018 draft by Cleveland and has covered 14,125 yards with 56 interceptions from 92 touchdowns in four seasons at Cleveland.
Trade Rumors
This leads us to the main point of this article. Fresh from Cleveland’s brass meeting with Watson above, there’s a new report that Mayfield could be dealt with even if the Browns don’t land Houston’s star quarterback.
The interesting thing here is that Houston doesn’t want Mayfield to be there as part of Watson’s package. Rather, the team is looking for players in the first round of three selections and other positions. The Texans are also highly regarded in 2021 mid-round pick Davis Mills, who played well as a rookie last season.
It should also be noted that Houston is only allowing teams that have made a formal offer for Watson to meet with a pro bowler. This means that Brown has actually made an offer – things get more complicated when it comes to Mayfield.
