Mayfield reportedly “feels completely normal” despite the positive result. Cleveland also announced on Wednesday that head coach Kevin Stefansky tested positive for the coronavirus. According to reports, the team is expecting more positive tests throughout the day.

Is vaccinated

Teams around the NFL are working hard to get their players and coaches vaccinated, and it’s no secret. The goal of achieving more than 85% of successful vaccinations is valid between teams, a goal that many teams have already achieved. Once that goal is achieved life becomes much easier when it comes to protocol and indeed daily life.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is undoubtedly the leader of the team. This fact is further proved by his comments today from his youth football camp. Mayfield’s statement on vaccination is a signal to her teammates that they should get vaccinated because it is a competitive advantage.

Mayfield told reporters, “It certainly creates a competitive advantage to have higher vaccine rates on your team because of the close contact and if someone unfortunately gets COVID, what can happen to the rest of the building.

When Mayfield mentions the rest of the building, he is referring to close contacts who will waste time. For example, the Browns last season basically played a game without their wide receiver room. The virus can devastate a team, even for those who haven’t tested positive.

Mayfield continued, “It’s a competitive advantage, but it’s much more than that. It’s about safety and the general health and well-being of human life.
