Mayfield (shoulder/leg/groin) completed 18 of 37 pass attempts for 247 yards and a touchdown while losing a fumble in a 16-10 loss to the Ravens on Sunday.
Analysis
Mayfield continued his recent trend of poor play, as he now has four turnovers in his last three games, while having a barely 50 percent completion rate during that period. The blazing quarterback clearly isn’t meeting the requirements for an early fantasy substitute, but we also know he’s not as bad as he’s shown on this recent slump. Perhaps the upcoming by-week could help ease Mayfield’s many injuries, but he doesn’t deserve to be rostered in his current form as a standard-league substitute.

Baker Mayfield’s wife tweets, deletes post questioning cruelty of Brown teammates
by Jenna Lemoncelli

Baker Mayfield’s wife seems frustrated with the quarterback’s teammates in Cleveland.

On Sunday night – after the Browns barely beat the Lions, 13-10 – Emily Mayfield posted and deleted a message defending her husband, while the rest of her team appeared to be shadowed.

“Nobody can say anything better about Baker Mayfield after this game, I don’t think I’ve seen this kind of toughness in a while. Maybe the rest of our team should take the cue and be tougher.” .

Mayfield re-shared another Instagram user’s statement to his story before deleting it. Her posts from the game, including photos of the costume and WAGs, remained in her story feed.

Mayfield’s cryptic post came after her husband refused to speak to the media after the win, after walking off the field.
