Bulldog

Aston Martin

The Aston Martin Bulldog is a British one-off concept vehicle designed by William Towns and constructed by Aston Martin in 1979. DP K901 was the project’s code name. Originally, a 15–25 car manufacturing run was planned, but the idea was deemed too expensive, and only one was completed.

Two Royal Naval trainees unveiled the automobile today. Richard Gauntlett, the restoration project manager, and Nigel Woodward, the managing director of CMC, were joined by the car’s owner, Phillip Sarofim, Aston Martin racing driver Darren Turner, and others of the restoration team.

Vanquish Volante

Aston Martin

Aston Martin’s new range-topper, the Vanquish Volante, is priced at £200,000, less a fiver. And it’s a price tag that reflects Aston’s faith in its ten-year-old vertical-horizontal (VH) architecture philosophy and 5.9-litre V12 engine, which is continually evolving.

The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of Aston Martin’s flagship Vanquish S coupe is roughly $298,000, including gas-guzzler tax and destination. The Volante starts at $316,000 and goes up from there.

Rapide

Aston Martin

The seductive Rapide is flat-out wild, while other four-doors are sedate and tranquil. Unfortunately, the Rapide will be discontinued in 2019. An electric Aston Martin sedan to replace the Rapide is reportedly in the works, but its release date is unknown.

Bhima Jewellers Chairman Dr B Govindan has purchased the country’s fourth such vehicle and the second in south India. The Aston Martin DBX SUV is more over Rs 5 crore in price. Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries was the first individual to acquire a DBX SUV when it was launched in India in February 2020.
