Career Overview
Ashley began her MMA journey at the age of 18 and made her amateur debut in 2008 in the Indiana regional MMA circuit. She lost her first fight against Lee Ramsey but bounced back in her next fight and defeated Kari Ricker. Yoder’s career took a hit after the win as she went through a 3-fight losing streak before getting back to winning ways and going on a 2-fight win streak to bring her amateur record to 3-4.
Ashley turned professional in 2014 and won her first fight in Catalina Madril via armbar submission in 15 seconds. She signed with BAMMA USA in 2014 and made her debut against Maria Rios at BAMMA USA: Badbeat 13. Rios outmatched Yoder and defeated him via unanimous decision.
She bounced back from the loss and went on a 4-fight sweep at BAMMA USA, winning 2 of her fights via armbar submission in the first round. Yoder left the promotion and signed with Invicta FC in 2016.
