Sabalenka was exposed as a junior and relatively unknown until 2017, when she rose to prominence in the Belarus Fed Cup team as runner-up alongside Aliksandra Sasnovi, despite both of them falling out of the top 75.

Engaged

Aryna Sabalenka

Aryna Sabalenka is currently engaged. At the end of 2019, Arya Sabalenka revealed in an interview that she was engaged. However, she mentioned that her fiancée was not from Belarus, and also that there would be no marriage, as that is against the custom. That’s why fans were shocked by the news, and at her engagement ring as well.

However, this is not their first relationship. In 2019, Arya was linked to her coach Dmitry Tursunov, with whom she has been training since 2018. Based on Aaryana’s social media posts, it seems that they were more than just teacher and disciple.

Wimbledon

Aryna Sabalenka

Aryna Sabalenka and Karolina Pliskova will face off on Tuesday for a place in the first Wimbledon final after setting up a semi-final clash with victories in the last eight.

With all four players in the bottom half of the draw playing in the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the first time and the romance of world number 66 Viktoria Golubic and 21st seed Ons Jabur, it was the experience that prevailed.

Sabalenka is the world’s highest-ranked player without a major title, but until this week she had never been past the fourth round of a major in a singles competition – but a 6-4 6-3 victory over Jaboor boosted her title hopes. Kept alive in front of the first sold out crowd of the week on Center Court.

Belarusian athlete Aryna Sabalenka started the current season confidently winning the competition in Abu Dhabi, earning over $68,000 in the tournament. Back then, Sabalenka didn’t have a very convincing series of matches. She could not beat any serious rival like Serena Williams and Garbine Muguruza. She will now face Ashleigh Barty of Australia in the tournament to be held in Miami.

US Open 2018 is considered as the biggest achievement of Aarya’s life, where she won her maiden WTA title by winning against Dalila Jakupovic with prize money of $46,500.

After losing in the opening matches against world number 18 Ashleigh Barty at the Australian Open 2018, Aryna went on to win her first match in the premier tournament and 3 singles titles and won $2,494,686 USD.
