Yes, Arch Manning is a freshman. At DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Arch Manning, a redshirt freshman quarterback, was officially named starter for Week 4 against UL Monroe for the Texas Longhorns as they are the top-seeded in I-A college football according to the AP Poll.

Although Coach Steve Sarkisian inserted Arch Manning into the quarterback position, which resulted in holding back Quinn Ewers, Kentucky has lost the last match against Georgia where both teams were ranked 5th and 1st, which he claims proved to not be a contest for the position of quarterback between Ewers and Manning.

Sarkesian stated, “Quinn’s the starting quarterback for the team.” Manning then entered in the game; I stigmatize the fact Manning will have the opportunity to play as a back up along with quinn as the starter.

Arch was in the game with a few minutes left in the second quarter and a 20-0 score. He first comes out and for the first time has no better luck, only punting. His second attempt was a more crucial one but Manning ended up dropping the ball while trying to pass and so the other team scored making the score at the end of the first half 23-0.

Ewers too had problems, primarily because Georgia’s offensive line was so consistent in targeting him. He had six attempts on pass that were drop back passes and on two of them he threw and both of the balls were intercepted. And as for the overall game, Ewers ended up throwing six-four passes with twelve balls for 17 yards while one attempt was an interception.
