Why he left inter
Inter Milan announced on Wednesday that Antonio Conte had stepped down as head coach, three weeks after leading the club to the Serie A title. “FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Antonio Conte to terminate his contract by mutual consent,” the club said in a statement. Inter’s 19th top-flight title Antonio Conte will always be a part of our club’s history.

After retiring from the sport, Conte worked as an assistant manager for Siena with Luigi Di Canio in the 2005–06 season. In July 2006, he was appointed coach of Serie B side Arezzo. However, after a series of disappointing results, he was sacked on 31 October 2006. On 13 March 2007, Conte was reinstated as Arezzo’s head coach after his predecessor Maurizio Sarri failed to achieve any significant improvement with the club embroiled in a relegation struggle. He later led the team to five consecutive wins, scoring 19 points from 7 matches, allowing the Tuscan side to close the points gap between him and the security. Despite this change in form, Arezzo was relegated to Serie C1 on the final day of the league season, one point behind Spezia.

Antonio Conte is married to his long-term partner Elisabetta Mascarello. Antonio and Elisabetta were neighbors long before they started dating. They lived from house to house and were very good friends. He and Elisabetta kept in touch after Conte’s professional career as a footballer began, and their relationship changed from platonic to romantic.
