The 34-year-old football player was seen performing at the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami on Friday, July 22. He captioned “Love Love” to Instagram footage from their concert. Brown sported an orange pair of overalls while belting out his new single “Put That S-T On” from his Paradigm record.

The Florida native’s surprising rolling loud gig made her the first athlete to perform at the festival, which also saw sets from the likes of Kid Cudi and Kanye West.

“AB has been in talks for the best in the world, has earned millions, and has now performed at a major festival. He is LIVED,” wrote a social media user at the time via Twitter.

Over the years, the erratic behavior of NFL All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown has been a cause for concern, as seen by many and concerned for his mental health. At Sunday’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers game, Brown had another episode of unusual public behavior. After a sideline brawl with the Bucs coaches, he took off his shoulder pads and jersey, threw his shirt and gloves into the stands, performed jumping jacks to the crowd, and walked off the field. He is no longer a member of the team.

Antonio Brown shares his thoughts on chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and the NFL when asked if he believes he has the disease during an appearance on the Full Send podcast.

“CTE, you can’t scan a person for CTE until they’re dead, first of all,” replied the former Buccaneers wide receiver. “… so how can you say that a player who is living in real time, who puts up real stats, who stands for real purposes, who is doing real things, has got a CTE?”

When asked about the hits he took as a wide receiver, Brown said, “Brother, I’m a wide receiver! You know what wide receiver CTE has? Vincent Jackson? Have you tried Tampa Bay? Heard the Books talk about Vincent Jackson’s CTE?”

The family of former NFL star Vincent Jackson said the 38-year-old, who died in February, was diagnosed with stage II chronic traumatic encephalopathy after his death. According to the Hillsborough County (Fla.) medical examiner, Jackson died of chronic alcohol abuse.

Burfict hit

Despite his turbulent football career, Brown’s on-field proficiency has been a constant in his musical pursuits. In 2020, Brown released a song called “Andrew Luck”, which featured a picture of Luck and Brown on the red carpet. “Pit Not the Palace,” his lead single from his latest album, features two of Brown’s sides on the cover. One is wearing a crown while the other is wearing a football helmet.

Brown, 33, still has hopes of returning to the NFL, he told TMZ in March. But the four-time All-Pro receiver is recovering from an ankle injury that he doesn’t plan to fix any time soon unless he is offered a spot on the NFL team.

“I’m the first player,” Brown told TMZ. “I wouldn’t even have been in this position without a footballer. So I never want to take it lightly. I would love to continue my career. I have a lot of game left in me.”

Interview

During an interview with Fan Controlled Football reporter Charlie Arnault, Brown was asked if he was going to play next season. He replied, “No, don’t play by watching me play.”

Brown was also asked if football was still important to him. He answered that question by saying that you “can’t play football forever” and that he feels he has achieved a lot in his career.

Brown’s comments come after he said earlier this month that he wanted to retire the Pittsburgh Steelers. At the time, it was unclear whether he meant he wanted to retire as a member of the franchise this summer or in the future.
