Antonio Brown: Mental health| Why did quit| Meltdown| Fired

Mental health:

Following his strange outburst Sunday, Brown is out as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and one can only hope he finds peace.

Brown’s bizarre behavior quickly blew up on social media and dominated NFL headlines around the league on a day Brady engineered another impressive comeback and several teams clinched playoff berths.

Why did quit:

Brown wore out his welcome in Pittsburgh, was released by the Raiders before even playing a game for them in 2019 and lasted one game with the Patriots.

He got another chance in the NFL with Brady and the Buccaneers last year after serving an eight-game suspension for multiple violations of the league’s personal-conduct policy, and ended up winning a Super Bowl ring. Even Brady couldn’t save his buddy’s roster spot after this incident.

Meltdown:

Antonio Brown: Super bowl rings| Head injuries| Incentives with bucs

Tom Brady called for compassion toward Antonio Brown after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver stormed off the field during the team’s comeback win over the New York Jets on Sunday.

Brown was seen taking off his gear and throwing some of it into the crowd as he ran back to the locker room at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. He was trying to get the crowd amped out on his way out and threw fans the “peace sign” as he left.

Fired:

“That’s obviously a difficult situation. I think we all want him to … I think everybody should find, hopefully, do what they can to help him in ways he really needs it.

We all love him, we all care about him deeply. We want to see him be at his best and unfortunately it won’t be with our team,” Brady said.
