Antonio Tavaris Brown Sr. (born July 10, 1988) is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. Growing up in Liberty City, Miami, Brown attended Miami Norland High School. He played college football at Central Michigan University, where he earned All-American honors as a punt returner in 2008 and 2009. A sixth-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brown received more receptions than any other player in the league from his rookie season from 2010 to 2018.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Antonio Brown had a lengthy media interview in Super Bowl week and briefly touched on the infamous hit received by former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontez Burfik.
The hit — which took the Browns out on the field during a playoff game — doesn’t need much explanation, nor do the Browns’ actions recently. But the hit was destined to come in the interview format like this.
Asked by ESPN’s Josina Anderson how she felt about the speculation that Hit Burfict had adversely affected her behavior, Brown said the following:
“No, he didn’t hit me that hard. You know, I got up and walked off the field. We won the game, right? I was fine. You play the game long enough, everybody hits hard … It’s not like I started falling apart after the hit.”
Asked if he needed help from the league or other, Brown said:
“We all need mental help. I’m like a caged animal. Like, everybody just talks about me. I can’t go out of my house. … All I do is people happens in front of … someone is making assumptions about me.”
