The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 28-24 victory over the New York Jets wasn’t without drama Sunday.

Bucs receiver Antonio Brown seems to have retired mid-game, as he was seen on the sideline taking off his jersey and walking away from the team.

Video from CBS showed that Brown appeared to be upset on the sideline and inexplicably started to remove his jersey and pads while teammates pleaded with him to stay. A shirtless Brown could be seen throwing his undershirt into the stands as he made his way into the stadium’s tunnel while waving a peace sign.

Is still in the NFL:

“He is no longer a Buc, alright? That’s the end of the story,” head coach Bruce Arians said in a postgame interview.

Bucs quarterback Tom Brady told reporters after the game the incident was “obviously a difficult situation.”

In a news release, the NFL said there was evidence Brown and two other players had “misrepresented their vaccination status.” The other two players were Buccaneers safety Mike Edwards and free agent wide receiver John Franklin III, who has been on the Bucs’ practice squad.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide-receiver Antonio Brown has dropped a rap song just hours after storming off the field during the Bucs’ game against the New York Jets.

Brown, who goes by the stage name AB, dropped the song earlier this evening (Dec. 2). The song, titled “Pit Not the Palace,” doesn’t appear to address any of the events that took place earlier today, but rather Brown’s high-end lifestyle.

People have already begun to speculate if Brown’s on-field stunt was just promo for the new track. You can listen to it at the bottom of this post.

On Sunday, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown set the sports world on fire. Early in the 2nd half, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians instructed Brown to go back into the game. He refused more than once.

That prompted Arians to tell him to “get out.” He did just that. He took off his shoulder pads, jersey and other equipment, tossing them into the stands. He walked shirtless into the locker room.
