Antonio Brown has done far worse than what he did on Sunday. But his latest stunt, pulling a Ned off a slap shot and literally running into the books mid-game, was his most public and arguably most surreal.
Now we have more context on the incident. Jay Glazer first reported on Sunday that Bucks head coach Bruce Arian tried several times to keep the Browns in the game, but the receiver “refused.” Glazer’s source? Aryan himself.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have terminated the contract of Antonio Brown with immediate effect.
Brown has accused the Super Bowl champion of pressuring him to play through an ankle injury that would require surgery despite being in ‘extreme pain’ during Sunday’s win over the New York Jets.
Less than 24 hours after Brown’s allegations, the Buccaneers announced they had released the wide receiver, who controversially ran off the field in the third quarter of his last game.
“The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have terminated the contract of Antonio Brown with immediate effect,” the team said in a statement.
“While Antonio received treatment on his ankle and was listed in the injury report in the week leading up to last Sunday’s game, he was cleared to play by our medical team before the start of the game and the game. At no point did he do so during the season. Indicate to our medical personnel that he cannot play.
Dallas cowboys
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Anthony Brown has agreed to a three-year, $15.5 million deal to return to the Dallas Cowboys.
The cornerback finished with 17 combined tackles and five pass defenses in nine games for the Cowboys in 2019. Purdue underwent season-ending surgery in the team’s 2016 sixth round for a triceps injury in November.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, retaining the Browns was key for Dallas after Byron Jones agreed to a five-year, $82.5 million deal with the Miami Dolphins.
Jones’ departure did not come as a surprise as many expected the Cowboys to give priority to Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper. He placed the exclusive franchise tag on Prescott and agreed to a five-year, $100 million extension with Cooper.
