Amanda Nunes lost her bantamweight title to Juliana Pea last night—and a puncture cost her $318,000.
Brazil seemed unbeatable since winning the belt in 2016, winning over several giants to become the first two-weight world champion before UFC 269.
But Pea shocked the world with a second-round submission to earn Underdog supporters a fortune, and lost a sizable sum to an unfortunate DraftKings player.
The bookie was mentioned on the official broadcast by commentator John Anick, and was confident Nunes would do business as she had done since 2014, when she lost for the last time.
And DraftKings confirmed it with a tweet on their Twitter page which will eventually go viral after the result.
