Again, Pea cites the work done at the gym as substantial, even though Nunes, 34, claims he has been reborn after such a shocking loss.

“If you’re crazy enough and know the work you’ve done, it’s easy to say, ‘Come one, come all. I’ll have you all at the same time. Who wants something? Come get some,’ ‘” said Pena. “I don’t care if you weigh 160 pounds or 120 pounds, I’ll fight if you come across me. There’s a dog that lives inside of me and I won’t be denied. No matter what, you’re leaving.” To remember that you were in a fight with me. Period.”

Wiki

Amanda Lourenço Nunes was born on May 30, 1988 in Pojuca, a small town outside Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, as the daughter of Ivete and Sindoval Nunes. She has two older sisters, Valdiren and Vanessa. After her parents separated when she was 4 years old, Nunes and her sisters lived with their mother. To support the family as a single parent, Mrs Ivette sold hot-dogs, sweets and beauty products alongside her regular job as a school administrative assistant. According to Nunes, her father initially disapproved of her fighting career due to the fact that she is a woman, but nowadays he supports her.

Growing up, Amanda was a very energetic child and often abused or got into street fights with other children. When she got into trouble, neighbors would always call on her mother, whom Nunes described as a loving but strict parent. “I was afraid of him! I was afraid of death. My mother was always a tough person, very tough, she just looked at me and I was already chilling. I had a lot of respect for her”. Ivete encourages her daughter to engage in sports as a way of dealing with her excess energy.
