Footage of a violent February incident involving the New Orleans Saints driving back Alvin Kamara was released Saturday by TMZ.

Nearly nine months after the New Orleans Saints ran back Alvin Kamara was accused of assaulting a man in a Las Vegas nightclub elevator, footage of the incident has been released.

TMZ found video of the incident and it appears to show Kamara repeatedly and violently attacking a man. The man in the video is believed to be Darrell Green, who filed a lawsuit against Kamra in October over the incident.

Back in February, Kamara was arrested and charged with battery charge, which resulted in considerable bodily harm after allegedly getting into an altercation in Las Vegas. Details of the incident were scarce at first, but a police report was filed that allegedly had an altercation at Dre’s After Dark Club at the Cromwell Casino in which a man was attacked by four men.

One of the stories that has flown surprisingly under the radar in the past months is the arrest of New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara. The running back star was arrested back in February after he assaulted a man in Las Vegas in the middle of the Pro Bowl. Since then, while the court proceedings were on, Kamara deferred the suspension.

Ahead of Alvin Kamara’s scheduled court hearing, new footage of the running back’s assault was leaked by TMZ. The video shows the Saints star and his group thrashing a man. The video, which is a minute long, corroborates the allegations leveled against Kamara.

The victim has already filed a case against Alvin Kamara for assaulting him and his friends. According to the lawsuit, the attack stemmed from an argument between the man and the Saints star’s group. Kamara has reportedly admitted to the assault after his arrest during the Pro Bowl last February.

The league is yet to hand Kamara a suspension while awaiting the results of the legal proceedings. With the release of this video, however, the league may be under more pressure to suspend the Saints Star. Next, is the unacceptable behavior of one of the best players in the league.

The Saints play against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night and Sunday. Kamara should be available to play for him for that game, barring his sudden suspension from the NFL. Considering the previous punishments given to other players who attacked, it is expected that at some point Star will be heavily punished.

Suspended

Las Vegas battery case for New Orleans Saints Alvin Kamara and three others, including Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Chis Lamons, were delayed again, making a 2022 suspension unlikely but impossible for the five-time pro bowler Not there.

8 News Now’s David Charnes reports Thursday, September 29 from court proceedings in Nevada, where Kamra and the other defendants in the case were not required to appear. The case has been delayed again, with a dozen lawyers involved in negotiations — the two sides will reconvene on Nov. 9, two days after Kamara’s Monday night game with the Baltimore Ravens. The Saints have a road game with the Pittsburgh Steelers on November 13, so this shouldn’t factor into Kamara’s availability, even if he is required to attend a court date.

The more times the matter is escalated, the less likely it is to be suspended during the 2022 season. With few exceptions, the NFL’s standard procedure has been to wait at a legal settlement before handing over a disciplinary fine or suspension. So if this continues, and it appears so, whatever suspension Kamara may get, it could be delayed until 2023. For now, nothing to worry about.
