Parents nationality
Week five of the NFL season belonged to Alvin Kamara, who starred in the New Orleans Saints’ 34–0 blowout win over Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots. Kamara, who was born in Atlanta, Georgia to a Liberian mother, was one of several African NFL stars who had a week to remember.
6 touchdowns fantasy
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara won multiple fantasy championships this week with his huge, six-touchdown performance against the Minnesota Vikings on Friday.
One of those lucky beneficiaries was Saints quarterback Drew Brees’ son Bailen Brees, as he told reporters on Monday.
In the 52–33 victory over Minnesota, Kamara rushed 22 times for 155 yards and six scores, while adding three receptions for 17 yards. It was a brilliant performance.
And hey, if it also helps the quarterback’s son win a fantasy title, that’s just gravy. Keeping the QB1 happy is never a bad idea.
