Transfer
According to reports, Chelsea have inquired about the possibility of signing Alan Saint-Maximin from Newcastle. Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is looking to reshape his forward line this summer and will continue signing despite the £50million arrival of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.
Tottenham are reportedly interested in acquiring Saint-Maximin, who has disappointed teammates during the pre-season. But Spurs have already signed Richardson ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign and may not need a new forward.
Newcastle clearly value the Frenchman at around £40m, which could turn off potential suitors. Saint-Maximin is desired by many clubs throughout Europe but their inconsistency has often disappointed Magpie fans.
Gucci
Alan Saint-Maximin was forced to put a sticker on his Gucci headband during Newcastle’s 1-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday – as it violated Premier League sponsorship rules.
Despite needing to cover the branding on his £180 garment, the winger impressed at St James’s Park.
It was his dribble in counter-attack and it went to Jetro Willems, which led to debutant Matty Longstaff firing the winner.
Maximin said in an Instagram post: ‘Shining 2002 vs 2019? Football, dancing, fashion and… still the same passion for headbands “began from the bottom now we are here, the story stayed the same through money and fame”.
Headband

Newcastle United forward Alain Saint-Maximin has worn a new headband in the last Premier League match, and it is extraordinary again.
Saint-Maximin has gotten used to wearing headbands from Gucci, but switched to Louis Vuitton a while back.
Alain Saint-Maximin has been banned for wearing a funky headband during their win over Leicester City.
Toon Ace wore a jazzy headpiece during Sunday’s 2-1 win at St James’s Park.
