The co-main event will see a title rematch in bantamweight. Champion Aljaman Sterling and interim titleholder Petr Yan have worked unfinished business to settle their first meeting. The two battled to be crowned an undisputed champion in March 2021, but a blatant illegal knee from Yan in the fourth round did not allow Sterling to continue and was declared the winner by disqualification. Sterling has not struggled since recovering from neck surgery, as Yan continued to dominate, defeating Corey Sendhagen in round five in October.

Chan Sung Jung. In the co-main event of UFC 273’s pay-per-view (PPV), bantamweight kingpin, Aljamain Sterling, plays it back alongside interim titleholder and former champion, Petr Yan.
It was pretty one-sided from the get-go. Almost immediately, Volkanovsky, taking the time of his opponent, netted him. In particular, his jaw was a huge problem for the South Korean athlete, as it often impeded his movement and coordination. As a result, Jung was not able to do anything, and it only got worse for the “Korean zombie”.
Before long, Volkanowski’s right hand was descending with ill consistency. Rust’s chin is made of iron, but the human body can only take so much, and at the end of the third he was horribly blown down. The fight could have been called there, but instead, Jung was sent out and quickly put down once more.
