Alec Daniels Bohm (born August 3, 1996) is an American professional baseball third baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).

JT Realmuto hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning and Rhys Hoskins and Didi Gregorius followed with a run-scoring duo that helped the New York Mets rally the Philadelphia Phillies 5-4 on Monday night.

The Phillies trailed 4–0, before scoring five runs in the eighth against an eight Mets reliever. Realmuto’s first homer of the season deep into the left field seats to make it 4–3. Hoskins ripped a tying double to the left to Seth Lugo (0-1), and Gregorius drew a line in the right-center gap for a 5-4 lead.

Bohm made three errors at third base in the first three innings, a poor look as he tries to win the job of third base on rookie Bryson Stott.

Bohm said “feelings got the best of me” and meant no offense to the franchise or Philadelphia.

“I said. Do I mean? No,” said Bohm. “It’s been a disappointing night for me, obviously. Made some mistakes on the field. Look, these guys, these fans, they just want to win. You heard it, we’re back, they’re great. I’m just sorry for them.” For. I don’t mean that.”

After making three errors in the first two innings of the game, Bohm eventually corrected the ship on a regular ground ball from New York’s Starling Marte in the top of the second. He comfortably threw at first base to record second place in the first innings and was met with a somewhat sarcastic standing ovation from Phillies loyalists.

After the play, Bohm had cameras set up and was shown speaking some favorite words about the crowd’s reaction.

“I hate f—ing this place,” he said.

Bohm, 25, finished the game with three errors, but made two walks and scored a crucial run in the Phillies’ 5–4 victory. Later, he apologized for his outspoken remarks, saying that his feelings got the best of him and that he meant no offense to the franchise or the city of Philadelphia.

“I said it. Do I mean? No,” said Bohm. “It’s been a depressing night for me, obviously. Made some mistakes in the field. Look, these people, these fans, they just want to win. You heard it, we’re back, they’re great. I just feel sorry for them. That’s not what I mean.”
