Game Tomorrow
Going into the 2021 college football season, Alabama has won three of the seven College Football Playoffs. That included the year 2020, when the Crimson Tide went undefeated and defeated Ohio State to win the national championship.
Coach Nick Saban and the Tide lost a lot from last year’s national championship squad, including three of the top five Heisman Trophy winners, including winner DeVonta Smith. Despite this, Alabama is anticipated to challenge for another SEC title, a CFP berth, and a national championship.
Channel
On Saturday, October 2, 2021, the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide (4-0, 0-0 SEC) host the No. 12 Ole Miss Rebels (3-0, 0-0 SEC) at Bryant-Denny Stadium in an SEC matchup. More information, including how to watch this game on FuboTV, can be found below.
No. 1 Alabama and No. 12 Mississippi will clash for a one-of-a-kind showdown on Saturday, as both teams enter Bryant-Denny Stadium unbeaten.
The SEC showdown will feature Alabama quarterback Bryce Young and Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral, who are both Heisman hopefuls and have only one interception between them this season.
Game Today
Prior to the No. 12 Rebels’ game against No. 1 Alabama on Saturday, the Ole Miss coach told CBS sideline reporter Jamie Erdahl to “get your popcorn ready” before dropping his headphones and running to the sideline. Alabama scored first with a 94-yard touchdown drive after the Rebels’ first possession ended without points.
Kiffin’s aggressive play-calling failed as well. Three times on downs, Ole Miss turned the ball over. The result was a 42-21 Crimson Tide victory over the Rebels. Alabama coach Nick Saban improved his record to 24-0 versus his former coaches.
