Where did get traded to
Philadelphia Eagles receiver AJ Brown doesn’t shy away from discussing how his term in Tennessee ended. The Pro Bowl receiver was traded from the Titans to the Eagles during the 2022 NFL Draft and immediately signed to a four-year, $100 million extension to Philly.
Jalen hurts friends
On the one hand, A.J. Brown’s recruiting trip to Alabama was not very successful. After all he didn’t go there. Instead, he chose Ole Miss.
But he met his best friend.
And that relationship with Jalen Hirts laid the foundation for the trade that brought Brown to Philadelphia on Thursday night, five or so years after he first met the Eagles quarterback. After an unsuccessful recruiting trip, Hirts and Brown kept in touch and their friendship grew.
“I think when you meet nice people, I think you try to be close to them,” Brown said on Monday. “He was someone I considered a really good friend who always took care of me. And here we are.”
Fantasy
Brown is reportedly allergic to bees, but was able to avoid the fear and will be all set for Sunday’s game against the Lions in his Eagles debut.
