Aaron rodgers: Is going to play| Is playing for the packers today| Is starting tomorrow
Is going to play:
Aaron Rodgers could be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday. For Seattle, Russell Wilson is on track to start after being out a month with an injury to the middle finger on his throwing hand.
The Arizona Cardinals will wait until Sunday to make a decision about QB Kyler Murray who missed last week with an ankle injury. Arizona turned to Colt McCoy in Week 9 and cruised past the San Francisco 49ers.
In Thursday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins quarterback Jacoby Brissett exited after hurting his knee in the third quarter. He didn’t return and Tua Tagovailoa took over, leading Miami to a 22-10 upset win.
Is playing for the packers today:
On Friday, Rodgers took on the criticism of his decision not to get vaccinated. “The opportunity to do this homeopathic stuff came up,” he told “The Pat McAfee Show” after claiming he had an allergy to the Covid mRNA vaccines.
“The specific protocol I’m just going to keep between my doctors and myself, but it was a way to stimulate my immune system to create a defense against Covid.”
Is starting tomorrow:
Rodgers is expected to be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list and thus will be eligible to play Sunday against the Seahawks, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The Packers have until 4 p.m. ET to activate Rodgers from the reserve/COVID-19 list, and the star quarterback has evidently remained asymptomatic and has passed protocols to this point and has already returned to the Packers’ practice facilities Saturday. The reigning NFL MVP appears to be on pace to play Sunday after a one-game absence, with his impending return expected to result in Jordan Love moving to the bench.
