On 11 February 2019, Ramsey signed a four-year contract with Juventus, which officially took effect on 1 July 2019. He will receive £400,000 a week, making him the highest-paid British player of all time based on a basic salary.
All signs point to Ramsey’s departure, and it’s reportedly just a matter of when it’s going to happen, rather than whether it will actually happen.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer oracle Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus is taking steps to bring Ramsey’s exit closer to reality. At this point, it seems unlikely for the 31-year-old Ramsey to receive any transfer fee as he will again become a regular contributor under Max Allegri. That’s why, according to Di Marzio, Juventus are working to terminate Ramsey’s contract, which runs through the 2022–23 season, and pay him a net €7 million a season.

Ramsey started the 2013–14 season well, scoring against Fennerbass in the first leg of the Champions League play-off and claiming the man of the match award. In the return leg, they scored twice to end the tie 5–0 on aggregate and secure Arsenal’s place in the group stage. Ramsey continued his fine form in Arsenal’s 3–1 win over Fulham in the second round of the Premier League, helping Olivier Giroud score the first goal via a deflection, and was named man of the match. Mikel Arteta’s absence from Arsenal’s midfield saw Arsene Wenger field Ramsey in a deeper midfield role unlike in 2011–12, and Ramsey flourished in the new role, prompting another against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby on 1 September Along with midfield performances, where he was involved in build-up play for Giroud’s goal. He then scored twice against Sunderland on 14 September, his first goal being a first touch volley, and the second goal being a build-up play with Giroud and new signing Mesut Ozil.

Ramsey continued his outstanding form by scoring in Arsenal’s 2–1 win over Marseille in the Champions League at the Stade Velodrome and scoring the opener in the Premier League’s 3–1 win against Stoke City four days later. On 28 September, he was named man of the match again as he scored another goal and claimed an assist in the away game against Swansea City, which Arsenal won 2–1. Three days later, in a game against Napoli in a Champions League match, he scored Ozil’s first goal for Arsenal. Ramsey won the Premier League Player of the Month award for September.

Injury

This is a thorny issue, and one on which every party involved certainly has its own opinion, players included. “I know what I can do and with the right management I can stay fit for a long time and play a lot of sports,” Ramsey told Guardian Sport. “I still feel good, when given the opportunity and managed properly. It is disappointing, that I have picked up these small injuries, for which I have to pay a lot of games and that means That I have missed some important games for Wales over the years.
At my club [with Wales] the training philosophies and methods are different,” he said. “There are many people here who have had many years to manage me, so they know how to get the best out of me and that is why I am able to play many games in a row. As I showed at Euros this year, I want to do that and I am capable of performing well.”
