Tooth:

It only took four full seasons in the spotlight for New York Yankees star Aaron Judge to decide he wanted to change up his famous image. And we absolutely respect it.

Is hurt:

Yes, he is hurt

New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge dislocated his pinky finger while sliding into second base against the Boston Red Sox, popping it back into place before staying in the game.

Judge did not start Thursday night in the team’s 6-5 win over the Boston Red Sox due to what manager Aaron Boone described as “lower body stiffness.”

Contract Extension:

The Yankees and Judge avoided arbitration with a $19 million deal for 2022 last month and, at the time, Judge said the agreement did not create any momentum toward a long-term extension.

“No. We got this one done. I was happy about that,” he told MLB.com. Judge has remained steadfast that he would test the free-agent market if an extension wasn’t in place before Opening Day.

Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner was asked about the Judge contract. He and the star slugger can definitely agree on one thing, per Marly Rivera of ESPN.

Contract Prediction:

Many New York Yankees fans were hopeful that Aaron Judge would agree to a new contract extension with the club before the 2022 season.

However, Judge rejected the Yankees’ $213.5 million offer on Opening Day. All he’s done since is hit homers at a torrid pace, equaling the scientifically altered Barry Bonds with 30 dingers before the All-Star break.
