Lakers vs Suns: Box score| Prediction| Injury Report

The Laker – Suns rivalry is an intense competition between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The seeds of this rivalry were planted in the 1969 – 70season whenever these teams contested during the first round of the 1970 NBA playoffs and it developed throughout the 1980s and early 1990’s and in some passages through the 2000’s. Even though the Lakers emerged successful in every playoff but one from their 3–1 slumping series comebacks of 1970 until 1989, the victory inception series of the Suns began in 1990 and gained momentum. They have claimed five of the last seven encounters with the Lakers, including their 1993 reverse series sweep and 2006’s comeback from 1-3.

Injury Report

The Phoenix Suns will face the Los Angeles Lakers for their 2024-25 season’s four games, but the Los Angeles side will be missing seven players.

The roster that cannot participate in the game will lose Jalen Hood-Schifino, Christian Koloko, Maxwell Lewis, Quincy Olivari, Armel Traore, Jarred Vanderbilt, and also Christian Wood.

It’s notable that four of these players, Hood-Schifino, Lewis, Olivari and Traore include G League contracts and will be sent to play for the South Bay Lakers which is a Lakers Development League team.

Koloko has been out of action still recovering from competition reconditioning. There is progress, and it appears he’s making strides closer to getting back to playing. Koloko signed a two-way contract with the Lakers but that was in mid-September. He has been waiting after joining the Lakers, and this was due to needing medical clearance from a blood clot condition.

If that happens where he is activated and takes part, the prediction is that he will also be playing mostly in the South Bay Lakers.
