Dustin Martin (born 26 June 1991) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Martin was drafted by Richmond with the third choice in the 2009 national draft, and made his AFL debut in the opening round of the 2010 season.

Richmond champion Dustin Martin has ended his illustrious AFL career with immediate effect.
One of the greatest players in the history of the game, Martin departed after 302 games over 15 seasons, which included winning three premierships and three Norm Smith Medals during the Tigers’ golden era.
While Martin will not receive an official farewell match, Tigers CEO Brendan Gayle confirmed he will publicly bid goodbye to fans at the club’s Round 24 game against Gold Coast at the MCG.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday afternoon, Richmond CEO Brendan Gale sincerely thanked Martin for his contribution to the club over his 15-year career.
Gayle began by saying, “We are very proud that he is and always will be an icon of our football club.”
“It (his retirement) was not a surprise; I will say that this is a decision that has burdened Dustin for some time; He has found the game physically and mentally challenging in the last few weeks (especially).
“(He) is a guy who has played football for a long time, who has had to face some challenges personally over the years; It’s a tough game… after a while you get it all.”
