Adrian Darnell Griffin (born July 4, 1974) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who most recently served as the head coach for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played in the NBA from 1999 to 2008 as a shooting guard and small forward. Griffin grew up in Wichita, Kansas and played college basketball for the Seton Hall Pirates.

Coaching career
After playing for nearly a decade in the league, Griffin’s coaching career began in 2008 under Scott Skiles in Milwaukee. He then worked as an assistant in Chicago, Orlando, Oklahoma City, and finally Toronto, where they won a championship in 2019. This was Griffin’s first head coaching job.
Why did get fired
According to team sources, the problems in Griffin’s early tenure ranged from putting together strong plans for the Bucks to fulfill their championship potential on both ends of the floor, to successfully communicating his vision to his players so they could execute it on the floor.
