What happened to dad

Stroud’s father, Coleridge Bernard Stroud III, is in prison after being convicted in 2015 of carjacking, kidnapping, robbery and misdemeanor sexual assault.

The sentence was the result of a drug-related incident in California, where the elder Stroud jumped into San Diego Bay in an attempt to escape police.

According to reports, on April 12, 2015, police arrested Stroud in downtown San Diego after he allegedly forced himself inside a woman’s vehicle. She was waiting at a spotlight in traffic when he decided to jump in the car, demanding she drive him to a place where he could buy drugs.
