According to officers, they received a call at approximately 2 a.m. regarding a traffic accident involving two vehicles, a Chrysler 300 and an Acura SUV. The Chrysler was deemed the at-fault vehicle because it ran the red light at a high rate of speed.

Four people were pronounced dead at the scene, and four others were taken to a local hospital, and two died after being taken to the hospital. Police said the dead included five men, including a homeless man, and a woman, and they were investigating to determine the exact circumstances of the accident and who was driving the SUV.
