When does come back

Justin Fields: When does come back| What pick was

Justin Fields returned to practice this week, but the Bears quarterback will miss a fourth consecutive game on Thursday night when Chicago hosts the Panthers to start Week 10. Coach Matt Eberflus contradicted himself when discussing Fields’ availability on Wednesday but ultimately confirmed that the QB is still recovering from a thumb injury.

“He’s making progress every day,” Eberflus told reporters after the Bears declared Fields questionable for the game. “He hasn’t been medically cleared yet. (Tyson) Baigent will be our starter for this game, and (Nathan) Peterman will back him up.”

What pick was

Fields was selected 11th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, who traded him to the New York Giants in exchange for the 20th overall pick, their fifth-round pick in 2021, and their first- and fourth-round picks in 2022.
