Postgame interview
If you watched the interview live, no profanity was uttered. It’s almost impossible for Fox producers to catch it in real time. They cannot predict the future. The network edited the video before the tweet was published, but for the live audience who questioned whether Prescott actually said it, you were absolutely right.
Prescott’s reaction when he realized he had taken the oath on national television was priceless. Andrews has long been one of the best sideline reporters regardless of the game, and the Fox veteran impressively leaves no stone unturned in the interview.
The best part? Prescott’s mistake came out of nowhere. The two-time Pro Bowler was in the midst of hitting all of his post-game pointers, as typical leaders do. He identified some things he could improve on, credited teammates and coaches and praised the defense after a two-touchdown performance, while stating the team’s collective desire to continue improving.
Prescott has done hundreds of interviews since entering the NFL. Without doing it again he would probably go a hundred more.
