Min Woo Lee (born 27 July 1998) is an Australian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. After a successful amateur career he turned professional in early 2019. He won the 2020 ISPS Handa Vic Open and the 2021 Aberdeen Scottish Open.

Prize money
Min Woo Lee only received the PGA Tour’s special temporary membership in May and has made the most of it, earning more than $2.2 million in the past month after scoring another top-10 finish at the $30 Million Travelers Championship.
The 24-year-old rising star earned a spot in the advanced event courtesy of his fifth-place finish at the US Open, flown to Connecticut via lift in countryman Adam Scott’s plane, and finished ninth.
Sister
Lee’s older sister Minjee Lee is also a professional golfer. When Min Woo Lee won the 2016 US Junior Amateur, they became the first brother/sister duo to win a USGA junior championship since Minji Lee won the US Girls Junior in 2012.
Swing
To swing a golf club at any significant speed, you must create what is known as “angular momentum.” Golfers do this by using their arms and wrists as a kind of lever system. When you move, extend, bend and then release your wrists, you are transferring the energy being created by your body back to the golf club.
The longer your levers, the more energy and momentum you can transfer. This is why someone like Ernie Els or Vijay Singh can generate so much power while looking so effortless. This was partly a product of long levers.
Lee may not be a prototypically burly bomber, but he is six feet tall, with a wingspan that exceeds his overall height. A lucky break of the genetic lottery that Lee took full advantage of: Lee extended his arms as far away from his body as he could on the backswing, making his arc as wide as possible.
