During the 2016 national championship game between Alabama and Clemson (Alabama won 45–40), a photo of Mark Ingram and Derrick Henry during the pregame coin toss literally went viral.

Man, that was weak, that picture,” Ingram said, laughing. “Obviously, with cleats and a helmet (Henry) is 6-4, and I’m 5-10. You put him close to the camera. You turned me away from the camera.

“The coin toss is there; So, I’m looking there, but it looks like I’m looking at him (Henry) sideways. The whole thing was just a setup. …I remember coming back to the sideline, Landon Collins said, ‘They got you, brother.’

“Whoever took that TV screen shot, come meet me. I have something to do with you.”

Ingram won the 2009 Heisman Trophy, and Henry followed in 2015. The two former Alabama standouts have also faced off in the NFL, and both have excelled at the pro level.

However, the image of Henry making Ingram look so short still – and always will – be absurd.

Ranking the Best of Derrick Henry Stiff Arms
Even when Derrick Henry doesn’t have a 200-yard game, he still finds ways to strike fear in the hearts of defenders as one of the NFL’s best strong arms.

This isn’t something that developed overnight, but if you’re a casual NFL fan it’s easy to overlook the absolute devastation caused by his stiff arm. I mean, it’s not your fault the NFL doesn’t give the Titans more prime time games.

You probably have a good idea why I’m bringing this up now, and if you’re a Buffalo Bills fan (or Josh Norman), please look away and have a good time today because this is where PTSD gets triggered. Is.

Derrick Henry made another bad move in Tuesday’s game against the Bills. If you haven’t seen it yet, I’ll let you bask in its glory.
