Former NFL player Sergio Brown made headlines in September when he was reported missing along with his mother, Myrtle Brown. While Brown resurfaced a few days later, his mother’s body was discovered on September 16. Now, the situation has taken another disturbing turn.
Brown has been charged with his mother’s murder and was arrested in San Diego on Tuesday. He was spending time in Mexico but was taken into custody upon returning to the US.
Brown spent seven seasons in the NFL, primarily as a reserve safety. He began his career with the Patriots and spent three years in Indianapolis with the Colts.
